There are plenty of beautiful beaches in the Cala D’Or area. The main resort beach is Cala Gran, just in front of the Hotel Cala Gran.

On most of the larger beaches you can rent out pedalos. If this sounds like too much work you can always just lie on the beach; sunbeds and parasols can be hired on a daily basis from May to October.

Sometimes there’s a safety area for swimming roped off from the rest of the beach. If so, don’t swim outside this area. Also, it’s forbidden to use pedalos, boats and jet skis in this safety area.

You can go on boat trips from the following beaches: Cala Egos, Cala des Pou, Cala Gran, Cala Esmeralda amd Cala Ferrera.
