Majorca is the most popular cycling destination on the Balearic Islands and one of the best places to go cycling is Cala d'Or and the areas nearby within Santanyi, Felanitx and Campos.

Cycling in Cala d'Or | Mallorca cycling routes. There are a wide variety of terrain and numerous cycling routes through spectacular surroundings. On the west of the island there are some very challenging routes due to the mountains whereas on the eastern side they tend to be a lot easier.

In the right side of this page I have added three possible cycling routes you can try in Santanyi. They have been taken from the proposal made by the Ayuntamiento and are fairly easy but very interesting if you want to discover the best spots in this area of Mallorca. The routes are between 13 and 22 km long.

There are several places where you can hire in bike Cala d'Or and there are also few cycling routes which are being promoted by the municipality of Santanyi. You have the information of these routes at the right side of this page.

Many people choose to take organised tours around the east coast of the island. One popular route, organised by Mallorquin Bikes of Cala d'Or, is through the gardens of the valley of S'Horta and then on towards Porto Colom.

The tours start off and finish at their shop in Cala d’Or. They typically cost around 35 euros and include; bike hire, picnic lunch on the beach, and tour guide.
